Altoona, PA - The Mount Aloysius women's soccer team lost 3-0 to crosstown opponent Penn State-Altoona on Tuesday evening.

In the game's opening moments, Olivia Woodley and Kristin James both had good looks at goal, but were stopped by Altoona keeper Mackenzie Strubhar. After back-and-forth action, the Lions scored with 3:44 to go in the half.

The game remained 1-0 until Altoona scored at the 14:21 and 13:41 marks after the Mount sent players forward looking for the tie.

The Mounties were outshot 15-5, as Woodley recorded four of the five Mount Aloysius attempts.

Mount Aloysius falls to 6-7, 2-3 in the AMCC and will travel to conference-leader Penn State-Behrend on Saturday afternoon.
