Cresson, PA - The Mountie defense held strong for over 78 minutes before allowing two late goals from Franciscan University in a 2-0 loss on Tuesday afternoon.

The Mounties, led defensively by Elizabeth Josephson, Shelby Anderson, Megan Parker and Jorden Eutsey, frustrated the Franciscan attack early and often.

Olivia Woodley had a few good looks at goal in the first half for the Mount, but couldn't find the back of the net.

Alyssa Wills played strong in goal with five saves.

The loss ends the Mount's season at 6-11, 2-5 in AMCC action. The six wins is the most in school history, with a team comprised of 15 freshmen, four sophomores and one junior.
