Box Score Bradford, PA - The Mount Aloysius defense held strong against one of the top attacking teams in conference, but the Mounties ultimately fell 3-1 to host Pitt-Bradford in AMCC action on Saturday afternoon.
Pitt-Bradford had the Mount on the ropes early, but
Zara Apakoh kept the visitors in it with a few point blank saves. Bradford carried a 1-0 lead until
Olivia Woodley scored less than five minutes into the second half to make it 1-1. However, Pitt-Bradford would respond with two goals in the next eight minutes en route to the win.
Apakoh stopped 12 shots in her best performance of the season.
The Mounties are back in action on Wednesday with a trip to La Roche College.
