Box Score Williamsport, PA - Despite a first half goal from
Olivia Woodley, the Mount Aloysius women's soccer team was defeated 4-1 by Penn College on Thursday evening on the road.
Penn College scored the game's first two goals before Woodley cut the deficit in half on a breakaway opportunity. The game remained at 2-1 until midway through the second half as Penn's Valerie Passalacqua scored to make it 3-1. With 7:45 remaining, Penn added an insurance goal.
Kristin James stopped 11 shots in net for the Mounties, while Woodley (five shots) and
Shelby Anderson (three shots) led the Mountie attack.
Mount Aloysius will look to get back on track with a road match on Saturday against Valley Forge Christian College.
