Buffalo, NY - The Mount Aloysius tennis team showed good improvement in a 7-2 conference loss on Friday evening to D'Youville College on the road.

Aubrey Brown and Kevin Ouellette played well at #2 doubles before falling 8-5. Following that match, Joel Fleegle and Joey Gearhart each recorded their first doubles win of the season as they won 9-7 at #3 doubles. Justin Fleegle kept the Mounties in the contest with a 7-5, 6-4 victory at #3 singles before D'Youville clinched the match with three consecutive singles wins.

The Mounties return to action on Wednesday with an AMCC matchup against Penn State Altoona.
