Box Score 2 Cresson, PA - McKenzie Moore scored off of a wild pitch to give the Mount Aloysius softball team a 3-2 victory in game two after the Mounties had defeated Grove City by a score of 6-4 in game one in a non-conference doubleheader on Thursday afternoon. With the victories, the Mounties move to 22-10 on the season.
Down 2-1 heading into their final at-bat, the Mounties loaded the bases with one out.
Brandie Mott drew a walk to bring in
Alexandria Teeter to tie up the game, and Moore came around on a wild pitch on the next at-bat to give Mount Aloysius the win.
Kelsey Ickes got the win in game two as she pitched a complete game and allowed five hits and two earned runs. Offensively, Emilee Gearhart went 3-for-3 and Lindsy Sammarco added two hits.
In game one, the Mounties were down 1-0 before scoring six runs in the bottom of the fifth to take control. Grove City added a run in the sixth and seventh innings, but Heather Picard ultimately closed out the game to register a complete-game victory.

Mount Aloysius will close out AMCC regular season play with a trip to Medaille on Sunday for a doubleheader.
