Box Score Middletown, PA - The Mount Aloysius women's soccer team won their second consecutive game on Wednesday evening as the Mounties defeated host Penn State-Harrisburg by a score of 1-0.
The 1-0 win follows up the Mounties 1-0 defeat of Bethany College on Saturday. In a back-and-forth first half, neither side could find the scoreboard as Harrisburg outshot Mount Aloysius by a 5-3 margin.
Mount Aloysius picked up the offense in the second half, and the Mounties found the eventual game winner off of the play of
Olivia Woodley. Woodley made a nice run through before beating a defender and blasting a shot into the bottom corner to give the visitors a 1-0 lead at the 59:39 mark.

Elizabeth Josephson and
Mackenzie Horne controlled the backline for the rest of the contest as Mount Aloysius closed out the narrow victory.
Woodley led the Mount offensively with four shots, two of which were on goal.
Mary Durle added three shots, and goalkeeper
Zara Apakoh recorded her second straight shutout while adding four saves.
Mount Aloysius will look to push their winning streak to three when they play host to Keystone College on Saturday at 1 p.m.
