Kutztown, PA - The Mount Aloysius bowling team started it's season at the KU Fall Baker Invite on Saturday and competed in six 5-game baker matches.
Match One: Franklin Pierce 819 - MAC 721
Match Two: Caldwell 966 - MAC 792
Match three: Adelphi 931 - MAC 747
Match Four: St. Francis College 933 - MAC 836
Match Five: Long Island University 844 - MAC 813
Match Six: MAC 755 - Felician 613.
Freshman Rayissa Amon led the Mounties with a baker frame average of 17.45 for 60 frames followed by freshman Michelle Magee with a 16.25 for 60 frames, freshman Lucy Craig with a 16.0 for 23 frames, sophomore Daly Lardieri with a 15.9 for 13 frames, freshman Jessica Bello with a 15.76 for 46 frames, and sophomore Jill Vietmeier with a 15.57 for 28 frames.
The Mounties return to the lanes Sunday at 9 a.m. for five traditional matches.
"I was extremely proud of how this team handled the pressure in its first tournament of the season. I look forward to a higher scoring pace tomorrow," Head Coach Barbara Jones said.
