Altoona, PA - The Mount Aloysius women's bowling team defeated Penn State Altoona by a final score of 761-740 in the team portion of the competition before also topping the Lions by a 4-1 count in the baker format on Saturday morning at the Holiday Bowl.
Katie Gales led the Mounties in the team competition as she scored a 163, while
Gabriel Sabo bowled a 159.
Ashley Skowronek and
Jill Vietmeier each registered a 150 and
Courtney Sable rounded out the team scoring with a 139.
In the baker format, the Mounties won four of the six games. The two teams tied in one game while Altoona won the opening game 132-131. The Mounties won with an overall score of 913-775.
Mount Aloysius concludes its season with an overall record of 19-40, including an AMCC runner-up finish at the AMCC Championships.
