Steubenville, OH - The Mount Aloysius men's tennis team was swept 9-0 on the road against first-place Franciscan University on Monday afternoon.

The Barons, who completed a perfect 6-0 AMCC regular season, swept doubles play despite a strong performance at #1 doubles by Justin Fleegle and Matt Hample. Fleegle and Hample were defeated 8-3. In singles action, the Barons continued to register victories. Nick Centar was the lone Mountie to record multiple points in a set as he lost 6-0, 6-2 at #3 singles.

Mount Aloysius falls to 3-6 overall and end the AMCC regular season with a 1-5 record. The Mounties will wrap up their season with a trio of non-conference matches against Bethany College, Lancaster Bible and Saint Vincent. All three matches will be on the road.
