Greensburg, PA - Despite a  victory by Justin Fleegle at #2 singles, the Mount Aloysius men's tennis was defeated by a final score of 8-1 by St. Vincent on Thursday afternoon in non-conference action on the road.

Fleegle picked up a 7-5, 6-4 victory in singles play to improve to 6-4 overall this season in singles competition. Nick Centar followed at #3 singles and was competitive before ultimately falling by a 6-2, 7-5 margin as the home side clinched the match.

In doubles competition, the pairs of Fleegle and Kevin Ouellette at #2 doubles along with Jim Smith and John Ouellette at #3 doubles teamed up and played well despite dropping 8-3 and 8-4 decisions respectively.

Mount Aloysius will return to the court this Sunday with a road matchup against Lancaster Bible College at 2 p.m.
