Erie, PA - This past weekend the Mount Aloysius College Mounties cross country teams headed to Penn State Behrend for the 8K Behrend Invitational. The Invitational consisted of some tough competition and was made up of teams from NCAA Divisions I, II, and III.
 
The women's team finished 14th out of 19 teams which included 130 runners. Lauren Shrader finished first for the Mounties with a time of 22:54 which resulted in a 52^nd overall finish. Laken Lapso placed 81^st overall with a time of 24:39.
 
The men's team finished 13^th out of 16 teams which included 141 runners. Nick Frank finished first for the Mounties with a time of 33:43 which resulted in a 60^th overall finish. Chris McHugh placed 74^th overall with a time of 36:59. Patrick Campion placed 76^th overall with a time of 37:32.

The Mounties are back in action this weekend as they head to Franciscan University.
