Cresson, PA - The visiting D'Youville College Spartans scored three first-half goals on their way to a 4-1 victory over the Mount Aloysius women's soccer team on Saturday afternoon in the conference openers for both teams.

The Spartans scored three goals over a 16-minute stretch in the first half to seize control, and added a fourth goal in the opening minutes of the second half. Mount Aloysius scored its lone goal in the 80th minute when Olivia Woodley scored off of an assist from Jordan Gebhart.

Zara Apakoh made six saves in net for Mount Aloysius. Offensively, Woodley and Gebhart each registered two shots and Harpreet Heer recorded one shot.

Mount Aloysius falls to 5-5 overall on the season. The Mounties return to the field on Tuesday when they will host Franciscan for an AMCC matchup beginning at 4 p.m.
