Frostburg, MD - The Mount Aloysius cross country teams took part in Saturday's Bobcat Invitational hosted by Frostburg State University. The Mountie women's team registered a 7th place finish with a team score of 192, while the Mountie men ended the day in 8th place with a team score of 193.
Miguel Hernandez paced the Mountie men's effort as he ended in 33rd place with a final time of 32:52 among the 79 individual competitors in the 8,000 meter course.
Majeh Alzahrani was next in line with a final finish of 46th place.
On the women's side,
Cynthia Santoyo was at the head of the leaderboard for Mount Aloysius with a 33rd place finish with a final time of 30:13 on the 6,000 meter course.
Danielle Pompa and
Laken Lapso had the next best finishes as they came in 43rd and 44th place on the day.
