Gettysburg, PA - The Mount Aloysius men's and women's cross country teams competed with top tier Division I, II and III schools at the Gettysburg Invitational on Saturday.
The women's team registered a 23rd-place finish and were paced by
Lauren Shrader, who nearly finished in the top-100 in the very large field with a final time of 27:49 in the 6K course.
Laken Lapso and and
Danielle Pompa were next in line as they both came in with times of 29:54.
The men's team recorded a 25th-place showing and were led by
Michael Haluska. Haluska ended the the 8K race with a final time of 38:58.
Miguel Hernandez was right behind him as he came in with a time of 39:00.
The Mounties will return to the trails on October 30th for the AMCC Championships.
