Johnstown, PA - The Mount Aloysius men's and women's cross country teams both ran on Saturday at the AMCC Cross Country Preview Race that was hosted by Pitt-Johnstown. Pitt-Greensburg and La Roche also took part in competition, as the Mountie women finished in third place while the Mountie men placed fourth.

The women's team was paced by Laken Lapso, who finished in eighth place among all individual competitors with a time of 33:01. Danielle Pompa was next in line as she finished in ninth place overall, while Cynthia Santoyo registered an 11th-place finish with a final time of 33:52. Full results can be found here.

The men's team was led by Majeh Alzahrani, who ended the day in 12th place with a time of 35:15. Miguel Hernandez finished in 24th place with a time of 40:42. Full results can be found here.

The cross country teams will return to competition next Saturday at Franciscan University.
