Beaver Falls, PA - The Mount Aloysius men's tennis team dropped their season opener by a 9-0 scoreline to host Geneva College on Friday afternoon.
In doubles action, the #1 doubles pairing of
Nick Goldyn and
Nick Centar played well in their season debuts before ultimately falling by a 8-4 margin. After dropping their other two doubles matches, the Mounties most competitive singles matches were at #3 and #5 singles. At #3 singles,
Dylan Matta lost 2-6, 6-2, 10-6 and at #5 singlesÂ
Sergio Serna fell by a 7-6, 1-6, 10-7 scoreline.Â
The Mounties return to the court Friday with a 5 p.m. match at Washington and Jefferson College.
