YOUNGWOOD, PA -- The Mount Aloysius Men's Cross Country team finished third at the recent Westmoreland County Community College Invitational.
The Men's team earned their first top three finish of the year at WCCC. They were led by FreshmanÂ
Mike Nagle (Tyrone, PA, Tyrone) who came in with a team-best time of 20:42.3, good enough for 16th place individually. SeniorÂ
Dom Panick (Wilmore, PA, Forest Hills) came in right behind Nagle, just seven seconds later, in 17th place.Â
Cole Funk (Fort Loudon, PA, Fannett Metal) andÂ
Alex Arone (Homer City, PA , Homer-Center) were not far behind as they finished in 19th and 20th place, respectively.
The third place finish was the men's best finish, since last year's La Roche Invitational, where they finished second.
The men will continue to prepare for the AMCC Championship meet, which will take place the first weekend of November, and will be hosted by Penn State Behrend.
