Altoona -- The Mount Aloysius Bowling team began the spring portion of their schedule on Saturday, in a dual match against conference opponent, Penn State Altoona.

The Mounties won both five-game Baker matches, increasing their NCAA record to 24-19. The first match went to the Mounties, 753-670. Match number two was also won by Mount Aloysius, 813-663. High average for the day went to Savannah Prather with a 17.3 and Kaitlyn Klein rounded out the top two with a 16.1. 

The Mounties will return to action on Friday, at the Red Flash Invitational, hosted by Saint Francis University. It will take place at Holiday Bowl, in Altoona.
