EBENSBURG -- The Mount Aloysius Men's Tennis team hosted two non-conference opponents over the weekend, in Frostburg State and Lancaster Bible. The Men performed highly and came away with two victories.
On Friday,
Caleb Beidle (Bedford, PA, Bedford),
Matt Blose (Punxsutawney, PA, Punxsutawney),
Cole Kazmierczyk (Johnstown, PA, Richland), andÂ
Adam Snyder all went undeafeated, giving the Mounties six matches. The kicker wasÂ
Devon Mountain (Roaring Spring, PA, Central) in the #6 Singles position, gaining a point as well.
On Sunday, Beidle, Blose, Kazmierczyk, and Snyder all went undefeated again, giving the Mounties their six match points, in the 6-3 decision. Blose had an impressive day, losing only one point, playing in both #1 Singles and Doubles. The Mounties improved to 8-4 with the win.
Mount Aloysius will return to action against Presidents' Athletic Conference members, Saint Vincent and Bethany, on March 20 and 21, respectively. Both matches will be on the road.
