ALFRED, N.Y. -- The Mount Aloysius Cross Country teams competed over the weekend in the season ending AMCC Championship. The Men ran an 8K race while the Women participated in the 6K event.

The Mount Aloysius men finished fourth overall in the event. They were led by Josh Hamilton (Brush Valley, PA, United), who finished 23rd overall, with a time of 37:22. He was followed up by Mike Nagle (Tyrone, PA, Tyrone), finishing in 26th place overall.

The Women's program did not have a finishing position, as a team, since they only had individual runners. They were led by Myah Chappell (Alexandria, PA, Saint Joseph's) who finished seventh overall, with a time of 30:43. Olivia Jumper (Delmont, PA, Homeschooled) followed her up with a time of 31:54, good enough for 15th place overall.

The AMCC Championships round out the fall schedule for the Mounties. Stay tuned for updates, as they look to run more possible events in the spring.
