CRESSON, Pa. -- The Mount Aloysius Women's Soccer team hosted Medaille, on Friday afternoon, in the first round of the AMCC Tournament. They scored seven goal en route to the victory.

Jasmine Hinton (Huntingtown, MD, Huntingtown) had a game-high, three goals, connecting on all three shots that she took.

Jordan Mason (Hagerstown, MD, St. Maria Goretti) andÂ
Kourtney Walls (Salix, PA, Forest Hills) each had two assists. Mason also added two goals in the contest.
- Medaille's Jessica Tyrrell had 17 saves in the loss.Â
Lauren Davey (Leonardtown, MD, St. Mary's Ryken) led the Mounties with two saves.
How it Happened
- Hinton got the scoring started off, when she finished her first goal, in the 11th minute, on an assist from
Johnna Adams (Lancaster, PA, Hempfield).
- Hinton's second goal, which came in the 28th minute, sparked a scoring spree from the Mounties. Walls assisted on Hinton's goal, then less than two minutes later assisted on the first of Mason's goals. Mason's goal made it 3-0.
- Mason scored again in the 34th minute, giving the Mounties three goals in less than six minutes. The Mounties headed into the half with a 4-0 lead.
- In the 58th minute, Hinton finished off her hat trick with the third goal, giving the Mounties a 5-0 lead.
- Medaille's Courtney Kline got the Mavericks on the board, when she scored in the 63rd minute.

Katie Figinski (Abingdon, MD, Edgewood) would answer in the 67th minute, pushing the Mountie lead back to five, on a pass from Mason.
- Mason added her second assist when she foundÂ
Katie Miller (Cumberland, MD, Mountain Ridge) for the final goal of the game, which made it 7-1 Mounties.
Into the Box Score
- Mount Aloysius outshot the Mavericks, 33-3, for the game. They also had all seven corner kicks in the game.
Up Next
- The win moves Mount Aloysius into the AMCC Semi-final Round. They will travel to #2 Pitt-Greensburg, on Wednesday.
- Mount Aloysius dropped a 1-0 contest to the Bobcats, back on October 12.
- Wednesday's winner will go on to play in the AMCC Championship game against either Penn State Altoona or Penn State Behrend.
