NEW CASTLE, Pa. -- On Monday, the Mount Aloysius Golf team competed at the Westminster (Pa.) Fall Invitational, held at the Avalon Field Club. It was their last tournament before the AMCC Championship event, later this month.

The Mounties shot a 347 to finish in eighth place on the day. Luke Melisko (Sewickley, PA, Quaker Valley) shot a team-best, 80, which was good enough to tie for 15th, individually.

Brian Walwro (Colver, PA, Central Cambria) added a solid 81 and Aloysius Lee (Puchong, Malaysia, SMK Taman S.E.A) shot an 83 to give Mount Aloysius two more scores in the low 80s.

Monday was the second consecutive event that Melisko was the team's lowest score. He shot a 161 (80-81) at the recent Allegheny event to lead the Mounties' scoring.

The last tournament on the schedule for Mount Aloysius is the AMCC Championship, scheduled for October 18 and 19. It is set to be held at Butler Country Club.
