LANCASTER, Pa. -- On Saturday, the Mountie Aloysius Men's Tennis team improved to 3-0 overall, on the season, as they won a close match against Lancaster Bible.
The Mounties benefited from a strong performance from the top-half of their lineup, as they won at #1 and #2 Doubles, as well as the top three singles positions.
Caleb Beidle (Bedford, PA, Bedford),
Cole Kazmierczyk (Johnstown, PA, Richland), and
Bruce Perow (Huntingdon, PA, Huntingdon), all went 2-0 on the day.
Beidle and Perow won their matches easily, pairing up to win 8-2 at #1 Doubles. Beidle won the #1 Singles match 6-3, 6-1, while Perow won 6-4, 6-1, in the #3 slot.

Adam Snyder (Weedville, PA, St. Mary's Area), won a tight match at #2 Doubles, slipping past the Chargers group, 8-7, with an 11-9 tiebreaker. Kazmierczyk won handily at #2 Singles, 6-4, 6-0, for the clinching point.
Mount Aloysius will look to continue their winning streak, on Sunday, as they host AMCC-foe, Medaille (0-2, 0-2 AMCC), at Ebensburg Tennis Center.
