Cresson, Pa. -- The Mount Aloysius Athletic Department has updated their spectator policy to account for both indoor and outdoor sports being played, on campus.

INDOOR SPORTS (Men's & Women's Basketball, Women's Volleyball)

- Indoor sports will continue to follow the guidance provided by the AMCC, in accordance with the AMCC COVID-19 Competition Plan. At this time, NO SPECTATORS will be permitted at indoor contests.

OUTDOOR SPORTS (Baseball, Women's Lacrosse, Men's & Women's Soccer, Softball)

- Mount Aloysius College WILL ALLOW spectators at all OUTDOOR sporting events, at this time. Spectators will be asked to follow local and state COVID-19 guidelines. Face masks and social distancing are required according to Pennsylvania State Guidelines. Mount Aloysius College reserves the right to adjust this policy at any time as local and state guidelines change.

Below are the AMCC Spectator Protocols, as outlined in the AMCC COVID-19 Competition Plan:

AMCC Spectator Protocols:

1. No spectators are permitted at indoor contests, either on campus or at neutral site facilities.
2. In situations where spectators may be permitted, the following minimum standards shall be applied:
   1. All state and local rules regarding public gatherings and athletic events shall be followed. It is the host institution's responsibility to be knowledgeable about current state and local regulations as they pertain to both indoor and outdoor venues and to communicate these rules prominently on the institution's athletic department home page, relevant sport home page, and social media.
   2. No spectators shall be allowed on the playing surface or in the team bench areas at any time.
   3. Spectators shall be required to wear a CDC-compliant mask in all indoor facilities; in an outdoor facility any time that a minimum of 6' of social distancing cannot be maintained; and when using a public restroom.

The AMCC Spectator Protocols apply to all AMCC member schools and their home athletic events.
