YOUNGWOOD, Pa. -- The Mount Aloysius Men's and Women's Cross Country teams opened their season on Friday, at the Wolfpack Invitational, hosted by Westmoreland County Community College.

 was the lone runner for the women's team. She finished the race with a time of 27:16, good enough for tenth place overall.

For the men, they finished in sixth place as a team. Josh Hamilton (Brush Valley, PA, United) led the team, finishing 14th overall, with a time of 20:32. Mike Nagle (Tyrone, PA, Tyrone) also finished in the top 20, at #19, with a 21:35 finishing time. They paced the team.

Friday was the first meet of the season for either team. They will return to action, in two weeks, when they travel to the Garrett College Invitational.
