PRESTO, Pa. -- The Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference hosted their annual Golf Championship tournament, Monday and Tuesday, at The Club at Nevillewood. Mount Aloysius' Golf Team competed and finished as the 2022 Second Place team, behind AMCC Champion, Penn State Altoona.

Mount Aloysius College shot a two-day total of 676, to finish second behind Penn State Altoona, thanks to two, back-to-back days of 338. The two teams were followed by Pitt-Bradford, who came in third place.

Luke Melisko and Brian Walwro each earned All-Tournament Team recognition, by finishing in the top five for the two-day tournament.

Melisko finished third after shooting a 161 for the tournament. He was third after the first day with a score of 79, sitting just one shot behind the leaders. Melisko then stayed in third place with an 82 on Tuesday.

Walwro finished in a tie for fifth place with Pitt-Bradford's Brody Kamuda, finishing with a score of 168. After shooting 82 in the first round, he shot an 86 during the second round.

Aloysius Lee shot the best round of Day Two for Mount Aloysius, with an 82, giving him a 173 for the tournament, in his last collegiate competition.

The AMCC Championship is the final tournament of the 2022 season for Mount Aloysius. Their second place finish was the best of the season for the Mounties.
