How It Happened
Game One
- After holding Mount Aloysius scoreless in the top of the first, Penn State Behrend picked up four runs in the bottom of the inning. The first four batters were either hit by a pitch or walked. The Lions then added another run in the second inning, to go ahead 5-0.

- Penn State Behrend was held scoreless in the bottom of the third. The Mounties loaded the bases with nobody out in the fourth. Cochran walked to push a run across with an RBI, then Cole doubled to left field to clear the bases, giving the Mounties a 7-5 lead.
- Behrend responded with a run in the bottom of the fourth, but Mount Aloysius added to their lead in the fifth.  had an RBI double to right center field and then eventually scored on a wild pitch, making it 9-6 Mounties.
- In the bottom of the fifth, the Lions used five hits and an error to score five times, taking a 11-9 lead into the final two frames.
- Mount Aloysius tied the game, in the top of the seventh inning, with the tying marker coming across on an RBI single by Alexa Nagy (Apollo, PA, Kiski Area), with two outs.
