CRESSON, Pa. -- On Wednesday, the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference announced their annual AMCC Team Peak Performance Award Winners, as part of NCAA Division III Week. Three Mountie squads earned the award in their respective sports.
Baseball, Men's Golf, and Men's Soccer all won the Team Peak Performance Award. The conference award is given annually to the team in each sport that has the highest cumulative Grade-Point-Average in the AMCC.
The Baseball program earned their first Team Peak Performance Award since 2016. They received the award with a 3.26 cumulative GPA, as a team.
The Men's Golf program won their respective Team Peak Performance Award with a 3.59 GPA. It is the third consecutive year that the Golf team has been the recipient.
Rounding out the Peak Performance Award winners was Men's Soccer, who finished with a sport-high, 3.38 GPA. The Mounties' award is their fourth consecutive as a program.
Mount Aloysius College was tied with Penn State Behrend, having three separate teams win the Peak Performance award, which was the highest in the AMCC.
