WAYNESBURG, Pa. -- On Saturday, the Mount Aloysius Women's Soccer team traveled for a night game at Waynesburg against the Yellow Jackets. The Mounties were unable to find the back of the net, in a 3-0 defeat.

Courtney Vought (Somerset, Pa. / Somerset) led the Mounties, in goal, with a game-high, six saves.
- Four different Mounties tallied shots, with
Johnna Adams (Lancaster, Pa. / Hempfield) and
Jordan Mason (Hagerstown, Md. / St. Maria Goretti) putting shots on goal.
How It Happened
- Waynesburg put the Mounties on their heels quickly, scoring twice in the first two minutes of the contest and taking a 2-0 lead.
- Over the course of the final 43 minutes of the first half, the Jackets kept the Mounties on their toes, forcing Vought to make four saves. Mount Aloysius tallied three of their four shots in the same time frame.
- In the second half, Waynesburg took the first three shots, scoring on the third attempt, in the 61st minute. That goal put the Mounties behind 3-0.
- Mason attempted the Mounties only shot in the final 30 minutes, in the 88th minute, but it was stopped by the Jacket 'keeper.

- Waynesburg held a 16-4 advantage in shots, for the game. They also had a 9-2 advantage in shots on goal.
