BRADFORD, Pa. -- On Saturday, the Mount Aloysius Men's Golf team opened up their 2022 Fall season, as they traveled to The Pennhills Club for the Pitt-Bradford Invitational.
Mount Aloysius finished fourth, shooting a team score of 317. Penn State Altoona won the event, with a 298 overall score.
Luke Melisko (Sewickley, Pa. / Quaker Valley)Â led the Mounties with a 74, which placed him in a tie for third individually.
Nate Hryn (Curwensville, Pa. /Â Curwensville)Â followed up Melisko with a 79, placing him tied for 15th.
Aloysius Lee (Puchong, Malaysia / SMK Taman S.E.A)Â and
Brian Walwro (Colver, Pa. / Central Cambria)Â carded and 80 and 84, respectively for the other counting Mountie scores.
Individually,
Landon Smith, Trey Hilbert, and Kohshi Meneses all competed. Smith carded an 81, while Hilbert shot 82 and Meneses shot 90.
The Mounties will be back in action on September 16, in the first day of the Mountain Valley Collegiate Classic, at Sinking Valley. The two-day tournament is co-hosted by Mount Aloysius and Penn State Altoona. Day two, on September 17, will be played at Summit Country Club.
