BUFFALO, N.Y. -- On Saturday, the Mount Aloysius Cross Country teams ran their final race of the fall season, at the AMCC Championship meet at Delaware Park in Buffalo. The meet was hosted by Hilbert College.
In the men's race, the Mount Aloysius team finished in fifth place and were paced by
Chris Love (Altoona, Pa. /Â Hollidaysburg), who finished in 18th place overall with a time of 29:00.57 in the 8,000 meter race.Â
Josh Hamilton (Brush Valley, Pa. / United) was the second Mountie finisher, coming in 28th place, at 32:12.34, in his final collegiate race.
Kayle Strayer (Saint Michael, Pa. / Forest Hills)Â led a group of individual runners for the Mounties, as she crossed the line in 17th place and ran a time of 28:39.86. The women ran a 6,000 meter course.
The Mounties finished up their fall schedule, with the Championship race, but may potentially add to the spring schedule at a later date.
