BRADFORD, Pa. -- On Saturday, the Mount Aloysius Men's Golf team competed in the Pitt-Bradford Invitational at The Pennhills Club in Bradford. They finished in a tie for sixth place with a team score of 327.
Aloysius Lee (Puchong, Malaysia / SMK Taman S.E.A)Â led the Mounties with a 78, good enough to tie for eighth place individually. He finished five shots behind Penn State Altoona's Jack Ditrani, who was the medalist with a 73.
Josh Lytle (Georgetown, Pa. / South Side)Â was the second-best Mountie finisher with an 81 in his first collegiate competition. He finished in a tie for 18th.
Mount Aloysius' other two counting scores were an 83 fromÂ
Tanner Fogel (Ashville, Pa. /Â Penn Cambria) and an 85 from
Vance Kunkle (Shippensburg, Pa. / Shippensburg).
The Mounties' "A" team will finish up the Gatorade Collegiate event at Wooster, on Sunday, before the team returns to action on September 14 at the Grove City Fall Invitational.
