CRESSON, Pa. -- Mount Aloysius College has announced the suspension of its women's bowling program, ahead of the 2024-25 academic year. The program was first established in 2013.

The suspension comes after careful consideration of student demand, among other factors.

"It's never an easy decision to suspend a program," said athletic director Kevin Kime. "Unfortunately, we had to make the decision in the best interests of our entire department moving forward."

Bowling competed in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC), where Mount Aloysius will remain a full member in their remaining sports.
