Pittsburgh, PA - On Friday, Cross Country traveled to Pittsburgh, PA for a meet that was hosted by AMCC foe the La Roche College Redhawks. The Mounties placed third overall at the meet, turning in a strong team effort behind solid pack running and steady times throughout their lineup.

Troy Tinch (Baltimore, Md., Thomas College) represented the men's as an individual at the meet, finishing fifth overall with a time of 20:22 (6:34 pace). Competing against full squads from PSU–DuBois and La Roche, Tinch led the way for the Mounties who did not field a complete team, finishing ahead of La Roche's top runner and several PSU–DuBois competitors. His performance highlighted consistency and steady pacing in a competitive field.
On the women's side, they placed third at the meet, turning in a strong team effort behind solid pack running and steady times throughout their lineup.
First-year runner Anna Resig led the Mounties with an 8th place-finish in 27:21, setting the tone for the squad's performance. Freshman Sophie Westrick followed close behind in 9th (28:42), while sophomore Shannon Shaffer (30:06) and senior Emily Miller (30:49) ran well together to finish 10th and 11th, respectively. Freshman Jazmine Boyle rounded out the Mountie scorers in 12th (31:04) to secure the team's total of 50 points.
The Mounties finished just six points behind La Roche for second place, demonstrating consistent improvement and strong team depth as all five scorers finished within four minutes of each other.
