ERIE, Pa. - Women's soccer dropped a tough 6-0 result to Penn State Behrend in a AMCC matchup on Saturday afternoon.
The Mounties (3-5-2, 1-1-0 AMCC) fell behind early, conceding five goals in the first half. Despite the deficit, the team held strong in the second, limiting the Lions to just one goal while continuing to battle defensively.
Goalkeeper sophomore McKenna Meadows (Lewisburg, PA, Lewisburg) made 10 saves on the day as the Mounties worked to weather sustained pressure from Behrend 6-3-2 (2-0-0).
Mount Aloysius will look to bounce back and build on their conference record as AMCC play continues on Wednesday. They'll host Penn State Altoona 3-4-3 (0-1-1) on Wednesday night @ Kelly Field. Kickoff is expected for 7 PM.
