Three Mounties Earn All-Conference Softball Honors

Cresson, PA - Three members of the Mount Aloysius softball team earned recognition from the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) following their performances during the 2026 season, highlighted by senior first baseman Alysha Cutri being named to the AMCC First Team.

Cutri put together one of the top offensive seasons in recent program history, emerging as one of the Mounties' most consistent bats throughout the spring. The senior appeared in all but three games this season and earned her first career All-Conference selection after batting .385, ranking 15th in the AMCC. She also finished sixth in the conference in extra-base hits with 19 while leading the AMCC with 17 doubles, setting a new Mount Aloysius single-season program record in the category.

Among her top performances of the season was a dominant outing against Hilbert on April 26, when she went 4-for-5 with four RBIs and a double. Cutri's production in the middle of the lineup helped anchor the Mounties offensively throughout the year.

Senior pitcher Jessica Koptcho was named to the AMCC Second Team after another stellar season in the circle for Mount Aloysius. Serving as the staff ace, Koptcho finished second in the conference with a 2.84 ERA while leading the AMCC in strikeouts with 117, 26 more than the next closest pitcher.

Koptcho delivered several memorable performances during the season, including a seven-inning no-hitter against SUNY Poly during the Mounties' spring break trip in which she struck out 13 batters. Later in the year, she tossed the first perfect game of her collegiate career in a five-inning victory over Carlow on April 22.

The senior also surpassed 300 career strikeouts this season, cementing her place as one of the most accomplished pitchers in Mount Aloysius softball history.

Rounding out the Mounties' All-Conference selections was sophomore second baseman Hanna Stedman, who earned Third Team honors following a breakout campaign.

After recording just six at-bats and no hits as a freshman, Stedman emerged as a key piece atop the Mounties' lineup in 2026. The sophomore slashed .298 while totaling 13 doubles, two triples, and one home run as the team's primary leadoff hitter. She started 35 of the team's 40 games and was in the lineup for every AMCC contest this season.

The trio helped lead the Mounties to a competitive season and continued the program's recent success within the conference. The Mounties finished the season with a 15-25 overall record and recorded two playoff wins as the #6 seed under first year Head Coach Michelle Ross.
