GROVE CITY, Pa. - The Mount Aloysius College women's soccer team dropped a 10-0 decision to Grove City College Saturday afternoon at Don Lyle Field.
The Wolverines struck early, finding the back of the net just 1:28 into the contest. Grove City added five more goals before halftime to take a 6-0 advantage into the break.
Grove City continued to apply pressure in the second half, scoring four additional goals to secure the victory.
Abby Solano recorded the Mounties' lone shot of the afternoon, placing it on frame. In goal, McKenna Meadows made eight saves in 28:05 of action, while Katie Scott stopped four shots over the final 61:55.
The Mounties fall to 0-2 on the season and will look for the first win of 2026 on Wednesday, Sept. 9, when they travel to Saint Vincent College for a 7:30 p.m. non-conference matchup in Latrobe, Pa.
Mount Aloysius owns a 3-3 all-time record against the Bearcats. Saint Vincent claimed a 1-0 victory in last year's meeting on Sept. 10, 2025.
