Dylan Link was named the Head Men's and Women's Golf Coach at Mount Aloysius in the spring of 2016. A Mount Aloysius Athletics Hall of Famer and one of the most decorated golfers in Mountie program history, Link has helped guide the Mountie golf programs to continued success both on the course and in the classroom.
Link's tenure reached a historic milestone during the 2025 season, as the Mount Aloysius men's golf team captured its first-ever Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Championship. The Mounties finished 11 strokes ahead of second-place Pitt-Greensburg and earned the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Championship, marking the first NCAA Championship appearance in program history.
Following the historic championship season, Link was named the AMCC Men's Golf Coach of the Year. Under his leadership, sophomore Josh Nicholl became the first Mount Aloysius golfer to win the AMCC individual championship, while William "Trent" Willis finished third at the conference championship. The Mounties went on to compete at the NCAA Division III Championship in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida.
In addition to the program's championship success, Link has consistently emphasized academic excellence. During his tenure, Mount Aloysius men's golf has earned multiple AMCC Team Peak Performer Awards, including four consecutive honors from 2019-20 through 2022-23. The 2022-23 team posted a 3.59 cumulative GPA to lead the conference in academic performance.
As a student-athlete at Mount Aloysius, Link was a three-time AMCC All-Conference selection. During his junior season in 2013, he won the individual title at the MAC Invitational at Ebensburg Country Club and helped the Mounties to a fourth-place finish at the AMCC Championships. In his senior campaign in 2014, Link won the DuBois Collegiate Classic while Mount Aloysius captured the team title. He also holds the program record for lowest single-round score after firing a 66 in 2014.
Link's accomplishments as a student-athlete were recognized with his induction into the Mount Aloysius Athletics Hall of Fame. While at Mount Aloysius, he was also inducted into Chi Alpha Sigma, the National Student-Athlete Honor Society. He earned AMCC Academic All-Conference honors and was named to the AMCC Sportsmanship Team following his senior season.
