Mount Aloysius College Athletics

Todd Niebauer enters his sixth season as the Head Men's and Women's Cross Country Coach at Mount Aloysius College in 2026.

Niebauer joined the Mount Aloysius coaching staff in 2021 after an accomplished career at the high school level. Prior to joining the Mounties, Niebauer served as the head cross country coach at Penn Cambria High School, where he built the program from the ground up beginning in 2005. Under his direction, the Penn Cambria girls' cross country team qualified for the PIAA State Championships from 2010-12, while the program also produced three District 6 runner-up finishes. Niebauer coached multiple individual state qualifiers and several All-State runners during his tenure.

In addition to his cross country experience, Niebauer spent 24 seasons as Penn Cambria's head wrestling coach, compiling a 216-177 record. He was inducted into the District 6 Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2022 before retiring from his position as the Panthers' wrestling coach in 2026. He continues to coach cross country at Mount Aloysius while remaining involved with Penn Cambria's track and field program.

Niebauer earned his degree in Secondary Education from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, where he was a member of the wrestling team under longtime head coach Pat Pecora.

Niebauer brings more than two decades of coaching and teaching experience to the Mount Aloysius program. His emphasis on discipline, consistency and developing student-athletes has helped establish a strong foundation for both the Mounties' men's and women's cross country programs.
