Andrea Gutmann

Andie Gutmann (O'Neil) joined the Mount Aloysius coaching staff as an assistant softball coach prior to the 2016 season and was elevated to the Head Coaching position prior to the 2018 season. 

In her first season heading the program, 2018 the Mounties won 21 games and captured the program's first AMCC Conference Title along with a bid to the NCAA National Tournament.3367

Gutmann played for Coach Carl Teeter and the Mounties from 2008 to 2011 as a leadoff hitter and centerfielder. Gutmann ended her collegiate career in 2011 as the MAC Female Athlete of the Year and Team MVP. A four-time All-Conference player, she helped lead the Mounties to back-to-back AMCC regular season championships in 2010 and 2011. Gutmann's career totals included a .364 batting average, 186 career hits and 141 runs scored. She also recorded over 200 career putouts in the outfield.

Gutmann graduated from Mount Aloysius with a Bachelor of Science in Ultrasonography in 2011 and an Associate of Science in Radiography in 2009. Gutmann resides in Alum Bank, PA with her husband Ben and is employed by Mount Aloysius as the Program Director of the Ultrasonography program.
