Barbara Jones is entering her sixth year as the head women's bowling coach at Mount Aloysius, heading into 2020-21.

Jones led the Mounties to third-place in the AMCC standings in 2019-20, prior to the season ending due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Including conference play, the Mounties went 56-46 on the year, bringing Jones' overall record to 246-164. She had two players selected to the All-Conference teams in 2019-20.

Jones' first season at the helm of the program was a banner one as the Mounties won the AMCC regular season and postseason championships on their way to a 50-25 overall record, including a 21-3 mark in conference competition. The program swept the major conference awards at the conclusion of the season as Jones was named the AMCC Coach of the Year, and freshman Rayissa Amon was tabbed the AMCC Rookie of the Year as well as the AMCC Player of the Year.

Her second season in 2016-2017 continued the Mounties upward trajectory as Mount Aloysius repeated as AMCC Regular Season Champions with a 58-29 overall record and 15-1 conference regular season record. Additionally, the Mounties were ranked 14th in the final poll for the NTCA for the 2016-2017 season in the ranking of the top Division II/Division III teams in the country.

Jones led the 2017-2018 Mounties to their third straight AMCC Regular Season Championship for the program while finishing with an overall record of 45-37.

Jones arrived at Mount Aloysius after four seasons as the lead assistant coach at Division I St. Francis University. While at St. Francis, Jones helped guide the team to the 2013-2014 Northeast Conference Championship. At St. Francis, Jones asissted in guiding 27 All-Tournament selections, 7 Most Valuable Player selections, 11 Northeast Conference Rookie of the Week honorees and multiple Northeast Conference Player of the Week selections. 1778

Jones has been a USBC Level I instructor (2000-2004), Bronze Level instructor (2004-2006) and has been a Silver Level instructor since 2006. She is also a former owner and operator of Bowl With the Ladies, Inc.

Jones is also a high-level player as she is a former member of the PWBA, Ladies Classic Tour and Women's Bowling All-Star Association. Along with multiple state and local bowling titles and awards, Jones has been a PNA National Champion and a top-5 finisher at the Ladies Journal Bowling Tournament. She held the Johnstown WBA High Average for over 10 years and has the all-time highest women's average ever held in Cambria County.
