Strong Defensive Effort Not Enough for Men's Soccer

Box Score
Erie, PA - Despite a tremendous defensive performance, the Mount Aloysius men's soccer team fell victim to an early goal and lost 1-0 to Penn State-Behrend on Saturday afternoon in AMCC action.

Eric Hackworth scored over six minutes in for the Lions on a header off of a corner kick. Following the goal, the Mount stayed strong on defense, allowing just 12 Behrend shots for the game.

The Mounties were limited to three shots, two on frame.

Defensively, Winston Crozier and Xavier Cardona were outstanding for the Mounties.

Mount Aloysius returns to action on Wednesday with a home contest against Pitt-Greensburg.
