Box Score Cresson, PA - The Mount Aloysius men's soccer team got back on the winning track with a dominant 2-0 victory over Pitt-Greensburg on Wednesday afternoon on their home field.
After dominating play early on, the Mounties were rewarded as
Jim Smith scored just over 22 minutes into the game on a chip shot. Just over two minutes later,
Patrick Chea scored on a breakaway opportunites on a feed from
Leighton Shore to give the Mounties a 2-0 advantage.
The Mounties then stayed strong on the defensive side, limiting Greensburg to just 10 shots for the game. Goalkeeper
James Antonopolos recorded the shutout with five saves in net.
The Mounties have another crucial AMCC contest against D'Youville at home on Saturday.
