Cresson, PA - The Mount Aloysius women's basketball team entered a new era as they played and won their first game ever in the new Athletic Convocation and Wellness Center before a spirited crowd.

Mount Aloysius defeated Valley Forge Christian College in a lopsided affair, 101-23. It is fitting that the Mounties reached the century mark as they look to reach new heights this season. Mount Aloysius was paced by Ali Maruca who finished with nine points and nine assists in a game where every Mountie on the roster scored.

The Women's Basketball team will next be in action in the new ACWC, Tuesday, November 26 at 7 pm against Waynesburg University.
