Cresson, PA - The Mount Aloysius women's basketball team fell to Eastern Mennonite by a score of 76-62 on Saturday afternoon in non-conference action in the Athletic Convocation & Wellness Center.

Becky Bard scored 20 points and recorded six steals for the home side. Lindsy Sammarco finished strong with 17 points and five rebounds, and Kaleigh Roop came off the bench to register 10 points.

The Mounties fell into a hole early going down 10-0 before fighting back to tie the score at 15-15 on a layup from Lauren Gross. The visitors responded with a 9-2 run and eventually took a 43-26 lead into the half.

The Mount never cut the deficit from double figures in the second half despite a late 9-2 run to close the game.

Mount Aloysius will be back in action on December 20th in RDV Sportsplex D3 Basketball Classic vs. Wisconsin-La Crosse.
