Cresson, PA - Prior to departing for a trip to Florida, the Mount Aloysius women's basketball team played a rescheduled game against Waynesburg, falling 78-65 on their home floor on Tuesday evening.

Lindsy Sammarco and Becky Bard both finished with 14 points for the Mounties, and each added three steals. Sammarco dished six assists and grabbed six rebounds. Abbie Zinobile also finished in double figures with 12 points.

With the loss, Mount Aloysius falls to 3-3 on the season while Waynesburg improves to 2-5.

The Mounties return to action in Orlando, FL as part of the RDV Sportsplex D3 Classic. They will take on Wisconsin-La Crosse on Friday evening at 5:30 p.m.
