Cresson, PA - The Mount Aloysius men's basketball team lost their conference opener to Penn State-Behrend on Saturday afternoon by a score of 76-57.

Shawn Greenfield led the offensive attack with 20 points, and Dillon Bender was also in double figures with 12. Davario Barksdale played well on the defensive end with six steals in the losing effort.

Behrend took an eight point advantage into the halftime break. Though the Mounties kept it close throughout most of the second half, a Behrend run expanded the lead to 22 with 5:29 to go and the Mount couldn't cut into the deficit.

Mount Aloysius will be back in action on Wednesday with another home conference contest against La Roche.
