Hiram, OH - Despite a strong first half, the Mount Aloysius men's soccer team fell 6-1 to Hiram College on Tuesday evening on the road in non-conference action.

The Mounties got off to a great start as Xavier Cardona scored just over eight minutes in off of a goalie misplay. Hiram tied up the game ten minutes later on a penalty kick taken by Tanner Matthews.

Nine minutes into the second half, Hiram scored to make it 2-1, and the home side would add four more goals over the next fifteen minutes to take control.

Mount Aloysius will begin conference play on Saturday when they travel to Hilbert College.
