Hamburg, NY - The Mount Aloysius men's basketball team lost 97-84 to Hilbert College on Saturday afternoon on the road in AMCC play.

Shawn Greenfield poured in a season-high 34 points for the Mounties while shooting 7-for-11 from three-point range. Dillon Bender added 19 points, and Davario Barksdale recorded a double-double with 16 points, ten rebounds and four steals. Nolan Doyle chipped in with seven assists.

Down by double digits throughout the first half, the Mount went on a 7-0 run to end the half that ended with two Doyle free throws with 12 seconds to play to cut the deficit to 50-44. In the second half, Hilbert built the lead back up before the Mount came storming back. A three-point shot from Greenfield with 3:28 remaining cut the Hilbert lead to four, but the Mounties would get no closer as the home side hit their free throws down the stretch.

The Mounties fall to 5-6 overall and 2-3 in conference play.
